What is a temporary tatoo ?
Bodyart is a removable tattoo that is safe, fun and easy-to-use.
Temporary tattoos are created utilising a combination of state-of-the-art computer, ink and paper technology and traditional four colour offset printing.

Safe creation process and materials
All inks, paper, plastic and adhesives used to create Bodyart tattoos have been tested and approved for safe contact with human skin by the USFDA. Rigorous research and testing has been carried out on the process for creating these tattoos in New Zealand.

Easy application and removal
These tatoos are applied simply by:

  • pressing the tattoo firmly onto clean dry skin with the design facing down
  • wetting the tattoo thoroughly (e.g. holding a damp cloth on top of it)
  • holding in place on skin for 30 seconds
  • slowly slide the paper off your skin

and there it is - your very own personalised Bodyart. Simply use baby oil or nail-polish remover to remove your tattoo.

An economical way to order your tattoos is by joining one of our regular monthly production cycle runs. You can order your own design but the costs of production are substantially reduced.

Specifications
Bodyart removable tattoo dimensions are 40×55mm. All tattoos are printed in opaque-white and four colour process inks on the front and one colour on the reverse (this includes the application instructions).
